Patches
was a beautiful, strong dry yearling. Due to moving the herd to Timpson, Patches
was only shown once this year at the ETGRA’s Lufkin Dairy Goat Classic. Judge
Evin Evans placed her first in her class and then she went on to win RGCH.
For 2006 Patches freshened with a single big buckling and is sporting a very nice udder. Placing
second under Ed Jodlowski and 3rd under Sam Whiteside, at the ETGRA Show and then going on to win, Reserve Grand Champion
at the Washington County Fair.
We then took her to to Amarillo's Tri State Fair where she placed 2nd place udder in ring one and
3rd place udder in ring two and 2nd in her class there too!
Each show she amazes us with bouncing right back and not missing a lick when it comes to milking
she has been milking since December of 05 and is not bothered a bit from long trips to the shows. She is a remarkably easy
tempered young lady that seems to acclamate anywhere we take her.
2007 Patches gave us triplets, 2 does and 1 buck. She
is growing into a very elegant doe with a beautiful mammary. For her first Apprisal as a second Freshener she scored
a 90! We can only imagine how she will come together in the next few years.
